Black Blend

Composition: 80% Malbec, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot.

Vineyard: Chacayes, Tunuyán, Mendoza, Argentina. / Agrelo and Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina.

Age: Chacayes vineyard planted in 2001, Perdriel in 1976 and Agrelo in 2006.

Altitude: Chacayes is 3,600 feet above sea level. Perdriel and Agrelo 3,200 feet above sea level.

Harvest: By hand

Ageing: Aged in small French oak barrels for 16 months, 70% first use, 30% second use.

Alcohol: 14 %

Tasting Notes: Intense bright violet colour with purple hues. It has intense aromatics of red fruit like dark cherries, prunes, which combined with notes from oak ageing achieve great complexity. With a silky and juicy palate, good structure yet sweet and gentle tannins, it lingers into a long lasting fresh and elegant after taste. It goes excellent with grilled beef, pasta dishes with tomato sauce and matured cheese.
